Registered Nurse Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Texas or compact state
- Minimum 1 year of recent Med/Surg nursing experience
- BLS certification required
- Strong clinical skills and ability to work independently in a healthcare setting
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Med/Surg RN Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality nursing care to patients in the Medical-Surgical unit
- Monitor, assess, and document patient conditions and progress
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by healthcare providers
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Educate patients and families on care plans and discharge instructions
- Maintain a safe and supportive environment for patients and staff
