Med/Surg RN Job Details

- Assignment Length: 13-week travel nursing contract

- Shift: 12-hour shifts (Day and Night shifts available)

Registered Nurse Qualifications
- Active, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license (Pennsylvania nursing license preferred)
- Minimum 1 year of recent Med/Surg nursing experience
- Current and valid BLS certification
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Med/Surg RN Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality, compassionate care to adult patients on the Med/Surg unit
- Monitor, assess, and document patient conditions and responses to treatment
- Administer medications and perform prescribed treatments
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Educate patients and families about health conditions and post-discharge care
- Maintain a safe, clean work environment in accordance with hospital policies
