ICU RN Job Details
- Location: Cambridge, MA 02138 (Boston metro area)
- Unit: Intensive Care Unit (ICU) / Intermediate Care Unit (IMCU)
- Assignment Type: Travel Nursing Contract
- Start Date: January 5, 2026
- End Date: February 28, 2026
- Duration: 8 weeks
- Shift: 12-hour nights
- Average Hours per Week: 36
- Guaranteed Hours: 72 hours biweekly (excluding on-call time)
- Estimated Weekly Salary: $2310 - $2470
Registered Nurse Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license – Massachusetts or compact state eligible
- Minimum 2 years of recent ICU or IMCU experience
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification – American Heart Association
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification – American Heart Association
- EPIC EMR experience required
- Ability to float between ICU and IMCU units
- Availability for the full travel nursing assignment; no holiday or other time off approved
ICU RN Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality, compassionate critical care to ICU and IMCU patients
- Monitor, assess, and document patient conditions and treatment responses
- Administer medications, manage ventilators, and perform advanced clinical procedures
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to develop individualized patient care plans
- Ensure accurate and timely documentation using EPIC EMR
- Float between ICU and IMCU units as needed to support patient care
- Maintain compliance with hospital policies, procedures, and safety standards
