Travel RN Job Details
- Location: Cleveland, Ohio 44125
- Healthcare Setting: Med/Surg Telemetry Unit (4 East/West)
- Assignment Type: Travel Nursing
- Start Date: December 5, 2025
- End Date: March 6, 2026
- Contract Duration: 13 weeks
- Shifts: Night shift, 3x12-hour shifts per week (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM)
- Alternative Schedules: Options for 4x12s, 3x12s, or 2x12s available
- Weekly Hours: 36 hours (standard for 3x12s)
Registered Nurse Qualifications
- Minimum 18 months of recent, permanent Med/Surg Telemetry RN experience required prior to travel assignment
- Active, permanent Ohio RN license or Compact State RN license required at time of application
- Current AHA BLS and ACLS certifications
- Willingness to obtain NIHSS certification before start date
- One recent reference from a manager, ANM, supervisor, or director in Med/Surg Tele specialty (Charge RN references accepted)
- Successful completion of ECG rhythm recognition test and safeMedicate assessment during orientation (2 attempts maximum)
- All required certifications must be active and up to date
Med/Surg Tele RN Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality nursing care to adult patients on a busy Med/Surg Telemetry unit
- Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms, respond to changes in patient condition, and implement appropriate interventions
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Accurately document patient care in accordance with hospital and healthcare regulations
- Participate in unit-based and hospital-wide quality improvement initiatives
- Educate patients and families on treatment plans and discharge instructions
- Maintain compliance with hospital safety protocols and regulatory requirements
