- Assignment Length: 13-week travel RN contract
- Start Date: September 29, 2025
- End Date: December 29, 2025
- Shift: Day shift, Monday–Friday, 5x8-hour shifts (08:30–17:00)
- Hours per Week: 40
- Estimated Weekly Pay: $2060 - $2200
- Employment Type: Travel Registered Nurse
- Charting System: EPIC EMR
Registered Nurse Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Washington State or Compact Nursing License
- Minimum 2 years of recent inpatient cardiac or cardiology nursing experience
- Background in cardiology required; outpatient or clinical support experience preferred
- Current BLS certification (American Heart Association)
- Proficiency with patient teaching and follow-up care for cardiac procedures
- Experience with cardiac monitors (LVAD, CardioMEMS, Zio, Preventis, Bardy), EKG, and related equipment
- Ability to float between similar cardiology units as needed
- First-time travel nurses welcome
- Two recent supervisory references (within the last three years, covering one year)
Cardiology RN Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate nursing care to adult and geriatric cardiac patients in an outpatient clinical setting
- Support specialty cardiology clinics including ACS (LVAD), Electrophysiology (EP), Afib (SCAN), Hypertension (HTN), and general/interventional cardiology
- Assist with patient education, medication reconciliation, and follow-up care for cardiac testing and procedures
- Perform vital signs, dressing changes, specimen collection, and aseptic/sterile procedures
- Interpret laboratory results and collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams
- Conduct telephone triage, follow-up calls, and manage pharmacy/patient refill requests
- Float to similar outpatient cardiology units as needed to support patient care
