Travel Nurse Job Details
- Location: Burlington, MA 01805 (Greater Boston area)
- Assignment Length: 13 weeks (12/15/2025 – 3/14/2026)
- Healthcare Setting: Nursing Float Pool – Medical-Surgical Telemetry
- Shift: 12-hour rotating shifts (7a-7:30p, 7p-7:30a); 4-week blocks alternating days and nights
- Hours per Week: 36 (72 hours biweekly guaranteed)
- Estimated Weekly Salary: $2,310 - $2,470
- Employment Type: Travel Nursing
- Start Dates: Weekly (Mondays)
Registered Nurse Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license – Massachusetts or compact state
- Minimum 1 year of recent Medical-Surgical Telemetry nursing experience
- EPIC EMR experience required
- BLS (AHA) certification required
- ACLS (AHA) and NIHSS certifications preferred
- Level 1 trauma experience preferred; required if no prior travel nurse experience
- Must be separated from BILH for at least 6 months
- Ability to pass day-one clinical testing (Relias practice tests available)
Nursing Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality patient care in a Medical-Surgical Telemetry unit
- Float to ED holds, inpatient holds, PACU, and other boarding units as needed
- Maintain patient ratios of 1:4-6
- Participate in rotating shifts (days/nights) and work every other weekend
- Adapt to floating in 4-hour blocks during shifts
- Document patient care and communicate effectively with interdisciplinary healthcare teams
