Allied Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Opportunity:

Nuclear Medical Technician - Nuclear Med Technician / Radiology

Job Details:

• 13-week contract assignment
• Monday through Friday schedule from 5:30 AM to 2:00 PM
• Call responsibilities required every other weekend
• Work independently as sole nuclear medicine technician covering for staff member on leave
• Handle approximately 4 patients per day
• Perform typical procedures including Cardiac, HIDA, VQ, Bone, Red Blood Cell tag, and White Blood Cell tag studies
• Operate Phillips BrightView equipment
• Use Meditech EMR system
• Must perform venipuncture and start own IVs
• Required certifications: ARRT, BLS, CNMT
• Dress code: Sage (olive) green scrub top with black pants
• Work in 1 nuclear medicine room with 1 bed
• Ideal candidate should be friendly and hardworking

The facility operates as a non-trauma center with increasing patient volumes and provides supportive staff assistance with transport and weekend coverage. The nuclear medicine department features modern equipment and technology, creating an excellent environment for healthcare professionals to provide quality patient care.
