Opportunity:

CT Technologist - CT Technologist I

Job Details:

• Work Wednesday, Thursday, Friday from 6:00 PM to 6:00 AM (12-hour night shifts)
• One day of call per month required
• Entry-level position working under immediate to general supervision of mentor/preceptor
• Provide specialized cardiovascular and/or radiologic technology services to adult and pediatric patients
• Prepare patients for procedures and correlate clinical history with physician-ordered procedures
• Utilize highly specialized cardiovascular and radiologic equipment for diagnostic, interventional, and surgical procedures
• Conduct post-procedure reviews to ensure completion and quality standards
• Transfer images and data to archival systems and prepare studies for physician reporting
• Perform quality control checks, cleaning, and maintenance of equipment per manufacturer guidelines
• Must be graduate of CAAHEP accredited cardiovascular program or JRCERT accredited radiologic technology program
• CT Certification (ARRT) eligibility required and must be achieved within 12 months of hire
• AHA BLS certification required
• Associate's degree or higher preferred
• Ability to work in stressful situations, multi-task, and work with minimum supervision
• Strong communication skills for working with patients, families, and multidisciplinary care teams
