- Unit: Med/Surg Telemetry – 3 South Unit
- Position Type: Travel Registered Nurse (RN) contract
- Start Date: December 5, 2025
- End Date: March 6, 2026
- Contract Length: 13 weeks
- Shifts: Night shift, 3x12-hour shifts per week (7:00pm – 7:30am)
- Alternative Schedules: Options for 2x12, 3x12, or 4x12 hour shifts per week
- Weekly Hours: 36 hours (typical)
- Estimated Weekly Pay: $1780–$1910
Registered Nurse Qualifications
- Minimum 18 months of recent, permanent Med/Surg Telemetry RN experience required
- Active Ohio RN license or Compact State Registered Nurse license required at time of application
- Current American Heart Association BLS & ACLS certifications
- Willingness to obtain NIHSS certification prior to start date
- One recent reference from a manager, ANM, supervisor, or director in Med/Surg Telemetry (Charge RN references accepted)
- Successful completion of ECG rhythm recognition test and safeMedicate assessment during orientation (2 attempts maximum)
- Background check and fingerprinting as required for Ohio healthcare jobs
Med/Surg Telemetry RN Responsibilities
- Deliver safe, compassionate, and evidence-based nursing care to Med/Surg Telemetry patients
- Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms, responding promptly to changes in patient condition
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Accurately document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes in the electronic medical record
- Educate patients and families on disease processes, treatments, and discharge planning
- Participate in orientation, ongoing clinical training, and required nursing assessments
