Job Description

American Traveler is seeking a Med/Surg RN night shift with at least 2 years of experience and a VA or compact RN license.

Responsibilities

Work in a Medical Surgical unit within a hospital setting
Night shifts available as either 3x12 or 4x12 hour schedules
Patient population consists of adult medical-surgical cases
Biweekly orientation sessions held on Mondays
Professional appearance required; scrubs of any color and child-friendly prints permitted, lab coat allowed
Facility operates a nicotine-free campus
Biweekly orientation takes place on Mondays

Requirements

Active VA or compact RN license required; candidates with pending licensure may be considered
Minimum 2 years of recent Medical Surgical nursing experience required
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification preferred
First time travelers are not accepted
Must live outside a 60 mile radius from the facility
