Med/Surg Tele RN Job Details
- Location: Cambridge, Massachusetts (02138) – Boston metro area
- Healthcare Setting: Nursing Float Pool – Medical-Surgical (Telemetry)
- Contract Length: 8 weeks
- Start Date: January 5, 2026
- End Date: February 28, 2026
- Shift: 12-hour days (7:00 AM – 7:30 PM)
- Hours per Week: 36 (72 hours biweekly guaranteed)
- Estimated Weekly Salary: $2,310 - $2,470
- Employment Type: Travel Nursing Contract
Registered Nurse Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license – Massachusetts RN license preferred
- Minimum 2 years of recent Med/Surg Telemetry nursing experience
- Strong telemetry and cardiac monitoring skills required
- Current ACLS and BLS certifications (American Heart Association)
- EPIC EMR experience required
- Travel nurses only – local Massachusetts candidates not accepted
- No time off requests permitted during contract period
Med/Surg Tele RN Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality patient care to medical-surgical and telemetry patients
- Monitor, interpret, and respond to cardiac rhythms and telemetry changes
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams for optimal patient outcomes
- Accurately document patient care using EPIC EMR
- Float to various hospital units within the scope of Med/Surg Tele as needed
- Maintain a safe, supportive, and patient-centered environment
