ER RN Job Details – Fergus Falls, MN
- Location: Fergus Falls, MN 56537 – Discover a friendly Midwestern town surrounded by lakes and parks, ideal for outdoor enthusiasts and those seeking a supportive community.
- Assignment Length: 13 weeks (Start: 12/8/2025 – End: 3/9/2026)
- Healthcare Setting: Emergency Department (Level 3 Trauma Center, Acute Stroke Ready Certified)
- Shifts: 12-hour rotating day/night shifts; every 3rd weekend required
- Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
- Estimated Weekly Pay: $1940-$2080
- Charting System: Paragon & Touchworks (Allscripts)
Registered Nurse Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Minnesota or compact state
- Minimum 1 year of recent Emergency Room nursing experience
- Current BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC certifications required
- Basic cardiology knowledge and ability to interpret cardiac strips
- Tele nursing skills required
- Experience with IV drips and ventilators (with respiratory therapy support)
- Strong communication, clinical judgment, and teamwork skills
ER RN Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality, compassionate emergency nursing care to diverse patient populations
- Assess, triage, and manage patients with acute and emergent medical conditions
- Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Administer medications, monitor IV drips, and manage ventilated patients as needed
- Accurately document all patient care activities in the EMR (Paragon & Touchworks)
- Participate in weekend and holiday rotations as scheduled
- Maintain compliance with hospital policies, procedures, and safety standards
