Travel Nursing Job Details
- Location: Rapid City, SD (Zip: 57701) – South Dakota nursing jobs
- Assignment Length: 13 weeks (Start: December 8, 2025 – End: March 9, 2026)
- Healthcare Setting: Acute Care Hospital – 11 Operating Rooms, 1 GI suite
- Shift: 10-hour day shifts with on-call rotation
- Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week
- Scrubs: Provided (Ceil Blue)
- Charting System: EPIC EMR
Registered Nurse Qualifications
- Active SD or compact state Registered Nurse license
- Minimum 3 years of recent Operating Room circulator experience (orthopedic focus preferred)
- Proficiency with total joints, arthroscopy, and robotics (MAKO robot experience highly preferred)
- BLS and ACLS certifications (American Heart Association required)
- Ability to badge in/out at the healthcare facility
- At least 1 year of overall nursing experience required
OR RN Responsibilities
- Circulate in the operating room, primarily supporting orthopedic surgeries (total joints, MAKO, arthroscopy, spine, foot/ankle, hand, ORIF)
- Assist with general surgery, ENT, GYN, and plastics cases as needed
- Operate advanced surgical equipment, including the MAKO robotic system
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation using EPIC electronic medical records
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary surgical team to deliver safe, efficient patient care
- Adhere to all hospital protocols, including dress code and badging procedures
