Registered Nurse Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license, valid in Tennessee
- Minimum 1 year of recent experience in a Med/Surg Telemetry or Medical Surgical Tele unit
- Ability to work 12-hour day shifts in a fast-paced clinical environment
- Strong communication, clinical, and teamwork skills
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Med/Surg Tele RN Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality patient care in the Med/Surg Telemetry unit
- Monitor and interpret patient vital signs and telemetry readings
- Administer medications and prescribed treatments safely
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare team members
- Accurately document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes in the electronic medical record
- Educate patients and families on care plans, procedures, and discharge instructions
