Title: Interventional Radiology Technologist
Location: Toledo, OH 43606
Duration: 13 Weeks
Shift: Day 5x8-Hour (07:30 - 16:00)

Job Responsibilities and Requirements:

Perform diagnostic and therapeutic interventional radiology procedures, including catheter/drain exchanges, embolizations, internal/external biliary drainage, chest tube placements, IVC filter placements/removals, stent placements, thoracentesis, and central venous access/port placements.
Responsible for equipment setup, maintaining sterile fields, prepping access sites, and ensuring infection control standards are followed using sterile techniques.
Operate and maintain imaging and procedural equipment such as fluoroscopy and PACS.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including respiratory services, radiology, social services, and rapid response teams.
Work with adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients in an interventional radiology setting.
Ensure compliance with all safety and isolation precautions and effectively respond to code or rapid response situations.

Required Qualifications:

Minimum 1 year of interventional radiology experience (unit accepts first-time travelers).
Certifications: ARRT (R), BLS, and active Ohio state license.
Experience with Epic charting system preferred.
Knowledge and hands-on experience with PACS, fluoroscopy, and procedural sterilization.
Must be able to take call (one weekend per contract: Friday 1600 – Monday 0700).

Preferred Qualifications:

ARRT (VI) certification.
Experience in trauma level I facilities and with advanced vascular/interventional procedures.
Familiarity with Philips and Siemens imaging systems.
