- Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM (12-hour night shifts)
- Hours per Week: 36
- Weekend Requirement: Every 3rd weekend
- EMR: EPIC
- Estimated Weekly Salary Range: $1950 - $2090
Registered Nurse Qualifications
- Active Iowa Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Minimum 2 years of clinical experience in Med Surg, Telemetry, or Med/Tele
- Proficiency with EPIC EMR
- Current ACLS (AHA) and BLS (AHA) certifications
- Ability to float to Emergency Department (ED) and Intensive Care Unit (ICU) as needed
- First-time travel nurses accepted with at least 3 years of nursing experience
- Must have a taxable address outside of 60 miles from the facility
Telemetry RN Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality nursing care to post-surgical and post-cath patients in a telemetry healthcare setting
- Monitor and administer cardiac, heparin, and insulin drips, including titration
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to achieve optimal patient outcomes
- Utilize the nursing process for assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care
- Float to ED and ICU units as required
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation using EPIC EMR
- Participate in scheduled holiday and weekend rotations
