- Duration: 13-week contract
- Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM (12-hour night shifts)
- Hours per Week: 36 guaranteed
- Estimated Weekly Salary: $2410 - $2580
- On-Call: Schedule determined by facility
- Weekend Schedule: To be determined by facility
- Completion Bonus: $10,000 upon successful completion of assignment
Registered Nurse Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years (24 months) of recent Labor & Delivery RN experience (Required)
- Active Arizona RN license (Registered Nurse, Arizona)
- Current certifications (American Heart Association or American Red Cross):
- BLS (Basic Life Support)
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
- NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program)
- AFM
No license hits (clean nursing license)
Flu vaccination required (declinations considered)
Travel nursing experience preferred
Must submit a copy of driver’s license (AZ home address not eligible)
Compliance with facility background requirements
Labor & Delivery RN Responsibilities
- Deliver comprehensive nursing care to mothers and newborns during labor, delivery, and postpartum periods
- Monitor fetal and maternal well-being, respond to emergencies, and assist with deliveries
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
- Collaborate with physicians, midwives, and the healthcare team
- Educate patients and families on childbirth, postpartum recovery, and newborn care
- Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to hospital protocols
- Participate in on-call and weekend rotations as scheduled
