Birch Agency, a nationally recognized company in educational services, is looking for a dedicated Speech Language Pathologists to join our team in Alameda, CA! We have a passion for making a difference in the lives of children with special needs, and we are hiring like-minded professionals to be part of our team.

Job Details:

Opening #1

Monday-Friday (40 hrs/week)
High school age group
Caseload: approximately 55
2 sites
Alameda, CA
Start: ASAP
Pay dependent on experience - starting at $75/hr

Opening #2

Part-time (3 days per week - flexible on what days)
8 hour days
Elementary age group
Caseload: approximately 50
2 sites
Alameda, CA
Start: ASAP
Pay dependent on experience - starting at $75/hr

Qualifications:

Master's degree in Speech and Communication from an accredited institution
Valid CA state license for Speech Language Pathology
Demonstrated experience working with children and adolescents in a school setting, with a strong emphasis on supporting those with special needs

Responsibilities:

As a Speech Language Pathologist with Birch Agency, you will:

Evaluate students referred with speech/language disorders to determine degree and severity
Provide Speech Therapy to students with a wide variety of disabilities
Complete appropriate paperwork following state guidelines
Attend IEP Meetings
Confer with parents and develop home programs when necessary
Consult with Teachers
Work as a part of Special Ed team
Provide thorough and accurate documentation in a timely fashion
