Premier Medical Staffing Services is seeking a travel nurse RN Labor and Delivery for a travel nursing job in North Kansas City, Missouri.

Certifications required: ACLS, BLS, NRP, AWHONN Intermediate......AWHONN Advanced Preferred
License required: MO or compact license at the time of submittal
CERNER EXP REQUIRED, NO EXCEPTIONS
TRAVEL EXP REQUIRED, NO EXCEPTIONS
First time travelers accepted: NO
Locals allowed: Yes same rate
Radius restriction: None
Weekends Required: Every third weekend required
Shift dates/schedule: 1845-07:15
Skills required: Admin of blood/products, CVC/PICC lines, Start/Maintain Peripheral IV, Medications (anticovulsants,antihypertensive, heparin, insulin drips, mag sul therapy, oxytocin), Assist w/circumcision, car seat education, cord care, discharge teaching, iv antiobiotics, newborn assessment, neonatal abstinence syndrome, Pain management (opiods, pain assessment), baby friendly protocols, couplet care, incision care, isolation precautions, phlebotomy, vaccine administration
Skills preferred: phototherapy, teach circumcision care to parents, thermoregulatioin, large for gestinal age, low birth weigh infants, Pain management (epidural, Use of PCA IV), use of breast feeding pump
Level 2 exp required, (charge experience pref)
Float Required: Float between Mom and Baby/L&D, Antepartum if they choose
Return Staff Policy: must be gone for at least 1 year
Unit scrub color: Navy Blue
Charting System Experience: Required
Charting System Name: Cerner
Community Hospital Experience: Preferred
Trauma Level I Experience: Preferred
Trauma Level II Experience: Required
Travel Experience Required: Yes
