- Shift: Night shift, 3x12-hour shifts per week (7:00pm – 7:00am)

- Estimated Weekly Salary: $1970 - $2110
- Patient Ratios (Nights): 3:1
- Scrubs: Provided
- Unit Details: 4 labor beds, 4 triage beds, 13 obstetric beds
Registered Nurse Qualifications
- Active RN license (State of North Carolina or Compact State)
- Minimum 1 year of recent Labor & Delivery nursing experience (1.5 years preferred)
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
- FHM (Fetal Heart Monitoring) certification
- NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification
- AWHONN Advanced or Intermediate for fetal monitoring (Preferred)
- STABLE certification (Preferred)
- EPIC charting experience (Preferred)
- Updated professional references required
- COVID-19 vaccine required (medical/religious exemptions considered)
- First-time travel nurses welcome!
Labor & Delivery RN Responsibilities
- Deliver comprehensive patient care in Labor & Delivery, postpartum, and couplet care settings
- Provide care for hysterectomy patients using med-surg nursing skills
- Conduct antepartum, labor, and postpartum assessments and interventions
- Assist with high-risk deliveries, C-sections, and newborn assessments
- Administer medications, blood products, and manage IV therapy
- Educate parents on newborn care, discharge planning, and car seat safety
- Utilize fetal monitoring equipment and respond to abnormal fetal heart rate patterns
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams including Physical Therapy, Respiratory Services, Radiology, and Pharmacy
- Float to other hospital units as needed
