Job Description
American Traveler is hiring a night shift RN for a Med/Surg and Skilled Nursing department position in California, requiring an active CA RN license and Cerner EMR experience.
Responsibilities
- Work in a combined Med/Surg and Skilled Nursing department
- Patient populations include adults and non-critical pediatric cases
- Night shift schedule: 7:00 p.m. to 7:30 a.m.
- Floating to the Skilled Nursing department is required
- Uses Cerner EMR system and experience is required
- Candidates must be familiar with National Patient Safety Goals as identified by the Joint Commission
- Hospital orientation will be paid in full
- Compliance with infection prevention and patient safety protocols is mandatory
- Holiday and weekend shifts may be required
Requirements
- Active California RN license required
- Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience
- Current certifications in ACLS and PALS required
- Experience with Cerner EMR is a must
- Ability to provide care for non-critical pediatric patients
