The registered dietitian has a solid foundation of education, credentialing, evidence-based practice, demonstrated competence, and adheres to established professional standards. Responsible for providing comprehensive medical nutrition therapy to acute care patients while upholding Providence's mission and core values.

Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Nutrition and/or Dietetics or related field preferred, and
- Coursework/Training: ACEND-accredited supervised practice program at a health-care facility, community agency, or a foodservice corporation or combined with undergraduate or graduate studies
- Within 6 months (180 days) of hire: Washington Dietitian Certification, or
- Within 6 months (180 days) of hire: Washington Dietitian Temporary Practice Permit, or
- Within 6 months (180 days) of hire: Washington Nutritionist Certification
- Upon hire: National CDR Registered Dietitian - Commission on Dietetic Registration
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master's Degree in Nutrition and/or Dietetics or related field
- 2 years professional experience in clinical nutrition in an acute care setting
