Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Labor & Delivery - Obstetrics position in Ohio requiring 2+ years of OB experience and specialty certifications.

Responsibilities

Labor & Delivery - Obstetrics unit in a hospital setting
Varied shifts preferred, but day or night shifts may be available
Responsible for providing care throughout labor and delivery, including functioning as a first assist and scrubbing OB cases
Patient population includes laboring mothers and newborns
No more than 5 days of requested time off will be considered
Candidates will support all aspects of OB care including first assist and scrubbing as needed
Relevant skills checklist must be current within one year

Requirements

Active OH or compact RN license required
Minimum 2 years of recent OB experience required
Must have completed at least 1 prior travel assignment
BLS (AHA) certification required (can be pending at time of consideration)
Active ACLS (AHA) or ALSO, NRP, STABLE, and Fetal Monitoring certifications required
Ability to function as a 1st assist and scrub OB preferred
