Location: Lockport, IL 60441

Pay Rate: Starting at $45.00/hr

Description:

Birch Agency is hiring a School Social Worker to join our team for the 20252026 school year. This position is located near Lockport, Illinois, and involves working with an elementary-level caseload.

Position Details:

Full-time, school-based position
Elementary caseload
Collaborate with teachers, families, and support staff to provide social-emotional and behavioral support
Conduct assessments, develop intervention plans, and support students overall well-being

Requirements:

Active Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with School Social Worker endorsement
Experience working with elementary students preferred
Strong communication and teamwork skills

Compensation:

Starting at $45 per hour, based on experience
