- Unit: Medical-Surgical (Med/Surg), 17/18 beds
- Duration: 13 weeks (Start: 12/8/2025 – End: 3/9/2026)
- Shift: 12 Hour Nights (19:00 – 07:00)
- Hours per Week: 36
- Estimated Weekly Pay: $1,590 - $1,710
- Electronic Health Record: Cerner
- Patient Population: Adult & Geriatric
Registered Nurse Qualifications
- Active RN license in North Carolina or compact state (Registered Nurse jobs NC)
- Minimum 1 year of recent Med/Surg nursing experience
- Proficiency with Cerner EHR required
- Ability to float to all areas of the facility as needed
- BLS certification (Basic Life Support)
Med/Surg RN Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality nursing care to adult and geriatric patients in a Med/Surg hospital setting
- Monitor, assess, and document patient conditions and progress using Cerner EHR
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by healthcare providers
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to optimize patient outcomes
- Care for patients with diagnoses including pneumonia, COPD, CHF, CVA, and cancer
- Float to other nursing units as required to support facility needs
