Travel Nurse Job Details
- Location: Sioux City, Iowa 51104
- Assignment Length: 13 weeks (Start: 11/24/2025 – End: 2/23/2026)
- Shift: 12-hour day shifts, 3 shifts/week, every other weekend and holiday required
- Hours per Week: 36
- Unit: Nursing Float (Med/Surg Telemetry)
- Electronic Medical Record: EPIC EMR
- Estimated Weekly Salary: $1880 - $2020
Registered Nurse Qualifications
- Active Iowa Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Minimum 2 years of recent Med/Surg Telemetry nursing experience
- At least 1 completed travel nursing contract
- Current certifications: BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA), NIHSS
- Ability to float within the same discipline across Sioux City healthcare campuses
- Submission of work history/resume, skills checklist (within 1 year), license verification, required certifications, and 1 supervisory reference
- Proof of taxable address more than 50 miles from Sioux City, IA (driver’s license, utility bill, lease/rental agreement, mortgage statement, insurance statement, voter registration, bank statement, auto insurance, or tax return)
Med/Surg Tele RN Responsibilities
- Deliver safe, effective, and compassionate nursing care to patients in the Med/Surg Telemetry unit
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary healthcare team to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care
- Float as needed within the Nursing Float unit and across local Sioux City campuses
- Accurately document patient information using EPIC EMR
- Provide patient and family education
- Comply with all hospital policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements
- Demonstrate flexibility to work every other weekend and holiday as scheduled
