Travel Nursing Job Details
- Assignment Length: 13 weeks (Start: 12/9/2025 – End: 3/10/2026)
- Healthcare Setting: 7E IMC (Intermediate Care/Cardiac Stepdown)
- Nursing Shift: Day shifts, 3x12-hour shifts per week (07:00 - 19:00)
- Hours per Week: 36
- Weekend Requirement: Every third weekend
- Location: Baltimore, MD 21218 (Maryland nursing jobs)
- Estimated Weekly Salary Range: $1590-$1710
- Flu Vaccine: Required (no exemptions)
- COVID-19 Vaccine: Not required
Registered Nurse Qualifications
- Active RN license (Maryland or compact state)
- Minimum 2 years of recent Cardiac Stepdown, IMC, or PCU nursing experience
- At least 1 prior travel nurse assignment required
- Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS
- Experience with Cerner EMR charting system preferred
- Skills in telemetry, dysrhythmia interpretation and management, wound care, and high-flow nasal cannula
- Ability to float to units of equal or lower acuity as needed
- Comfortable caring for patients with possible COVID-19 exposure
- Two supervisor references required
- Flu vaccine required (no exemptions)
Cardiac Stepdown RN Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality cardiac nursing care to adult and geriatric patients in a stepdown unit
- Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms; manage dysrhythmias and telemetry
- Administer medications, therapies, and cardiac interventions as prescribed
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams including IV, PT, RT, phlebotomy, radiology, pharmacy, and rapid response
- Document patient care using Cerner electronic medical records (EMR)
- Maintain strict infection control and isolation precautions
- Float to other nursing units of similar or lower acuity as needed
- Participate in orientation and complete required modules (average 12 hours pre-start)
