- Assignment Type: Travel Nursing – Emergency Room
- Unit: ER / Emergency Department
- Start Date: November 10, 2025
- End Date: February 7, 2026
- Contract Duration: 13 weeks
- Shift: 12 Hour Nights (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM)
- Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
- Estimated Weekly Salary: $1,960–$2,100 per week
ER RN Qualifications & Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of recent Emergency Room nursing experience
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in New York State or eligibility to obtain
- Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS (American Heart Association preferred)
- NIH Stroke Scale certification required
- Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) preferred
- Previous travel nursing experience preferred
- Ability to comply with hospital flu vaccine policy (mask required if declining or exempt)
- Not eligible if employed by this organization within the past 5 years
Emergency Room Nurse Responsibilities
- Provide expert emergency care to patients in a busy ER setting
- Assess, triage, and monitor patients with acute and critical conditions
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare teams
- Administer medications, treatments, and interventions per clinical protocols
- Accurately document patient care and nursing interventions
- Respond rapidly to emergencies and perform life-saving procedures
- Ensure compliance with hospital policies, procedures, and safety standards
