Registered Nurse Qualifications
- Active RN compact license (Registered Nurse)
- BLS certification (Basic Life Support)
- Minimum 1 year of recent experience in cardiac stepdown, cardiac surgery, or clinical support roles
- Proven experience with scrubbing and open heart procedures in a healthcare setting
- Ability to provide requested time off (RTO) at time of submission
- Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of Green Bay, WI
Cardiac Stepdown RN Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality nursing care to patients recovering from cardiac surgery and cardiac procedures
- Assist with scrubbing and open heart procedures as a key member of the cardiac surgery team
- Monitor patient status, administer medications, and respond promptly to changes in condition
- Collaborate with physicians, surgeons, and multidisciplinary healthcare teams to optimize patient outcomes
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation and uphold safety protocols
- Participate in scheduled on-call rotations
