- Estimated Weekly Salary: $1510 - $1620 per week
PACU Registered Nurse Qualifications
- Active and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in Texas or compact state
- Minimum 1 year of recent PACU, recovery room, or critical care nursing experience
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification preferred
- Strong clinical assessment, communication, and critical thinking skills
- Ability to excel in a fast-paced, team-oriented healthcare environment
PACU RN Responsibilities
- Monitor and care for patients recovering from anesthesia after surgical procedures
- Assess patient status, recognize complications, and provide timely interventions
- Administer medications and treatments as ordered by physicians
- Collaborate with surgical, anesthesia, and interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Educate patients and families on post-operative care, recovery, and discharge instructions
- Maintain accurate, thorough, and timely clinical documentation
