Med/Surg Telemetry Nursing Job Details

Registered Nurse Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Pennsylvania
- At least 1 year of recent experience in Med/Surg Telemetry nursing
- BLS certification from the American Heart Association
- Strong clinical, communication, and critical thinking skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced healthcare environment and work collaboratively with clinical teams
Med/Surg Telemetry Nurse Responsibilities
- Provide safe, compassionate, and effective nursing care to patients in the Med/Surg Telemetry unit
- Monitor and interpret telemetry data, responding promptly to changes in patient status
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by healthcare providers
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Accurately document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes in the electronic medical record
- Educate patients and families on health conditions, treatment options, and discharge planning
