Permanent Physician Position - Neonatology in Macon, GA

Join a thriving group of Neonatologists and Neonatal Nurse Practitioners in Macon, Georgia! This practice is located in a state-of-the-art facility, which includes the only dedicated pediatric hospital in central and south Georgia, featuring a Level-III NICU and recognized as a Magnet Hospital for Nursing Excellence. The new children's hospital opened in 2019 and provides comprehensive care with exceptional equipment and staff support.

Job Responsibilities:

Provide exceptional care in a 66-bed, state-of-the-art Level-III NICU.
Participate in daily rounding, with on-call responsibilities from home every other night.
Utilize advanced services such as high-frequency ventilation, nitric oxide, and brain cooling.
Collaborate with readily available subspecialty support and experienced Nurse Practitioners.
Engage in clinical appointments associated with Mercer Medical School.
Serve in a designated Level-I trauma center and one of six regional perinatal/neonatal centers in Georgia.

Qualifications:

Board Eligible (within 5 years of eligibility) or Board Certified in Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine.
Must have or be willing to obtain a Georgia medical license.
DEA license must be obtained prior to the start date.
Not accepting visa candidates for this position.

License and Certification Requirements:

Georgia Medical License (Required).
DEA License (Required prior to start).
Board certification or eligibility in Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine (Required).
