Internal Medicine Physician

Seeking a BE/BC Internal Medicine Physician looking to maintain a mix of both outpatient and inpatient medicine in central Minnesota.

Outpatient Position Details:

Roughly 8 days of clinic, spread over 3 weeks
Broad Primary Care Practice
Multispecialty Clinic with support from specialists and ancillary services
Clinic site has 5 Family Physicians
No OB, but prenatal care is an option
Telephone call 1:26, peds call only
16-22 patients per day
This position is to prepare for anticipated retirements

Inpatient Position Details:

Half-time Hospitalists work 1, 7-on shift, per month
Day shift, only
Partner with existing Hospitalist Program of both full and half-time providers
Schedule 12 hours shifts with 2-3 weeks of nights; rest of the shifts are days
Hospitalists will cover ICU, with consultative intensivist support
Total number of physicians in specialty currently in department at practice site: 7
The practice is fully staffed with 8-9 hospitalists
Average inpatient practice volume per day: Med Surg-71 / ICU-10; divided between 3-4 rounding hospitalist, who also share admissions
Average daily census on unit: 50-60

Salary and Benefit Package:

Compensation: $300,317 - $337,000
Hired candidates may be eligible to receive additional compensation in the form of bonuses, quality incentives or production-based compensation
