Job Summary:

Medical City Heart Hospital is seeking a cardiothoracic surgeon to join their established employed practice and growing service line.

Qualified Candidates:

Experience in all aspects of adult cardiothoracic surgery with a focus on heart transplantation, VAD and mechanical circulatory support (ECMO and impella)
Additional training in heart transplant/mechanical circulatory support is desirable
Ideal candidate will demonstrate the ability to work collaboratively within the team of the growing program
Partner with an additional CT surgeon
Practice primarily based at Medical City Heart Hospital in Dallas with an opportunity for additional work in satellite hospitals
Excellent perfusionists, cardiac anesthesiologists, surgical physician assistants, and critical care colleagues

About Medical City Heart Hospital:

Facility consists of 3 CVORs, 2 hybrid ORs, 3 cardiac catherization labs, 3 biplane EP/interventional catherization labs, 15-bed CVICU and 48-bed progressive care unit with 24/7 attending/NP coverage and a cardiovascular outpatient center
3 Floor addition to a dedicated Heart Hospital with a 28 CVICU bed expansion and 26 PCU bed addition coming September 2025
3 New Heart Failure Cardiologists with plans to recruit into the growing program
Surgeon office and clinic attached to hospital
