Overview:

St. Mary s Healthcare is seeking a dedicated Inpatient Psychiatrist to join our compassionate and experienced Behavioral Health team in Amsterdam, NY. This full-time, hospital-employed position is based within our 20-bed adult inpatient unit and offers an exceptional opportunity to provide high-quality psychiatric care to patients experiencing acute mental health crises. As part of a collaborative and supportive team, you will work closely with social workers, psychiatric nurses, and therapists to deliver comprehensive, patient-centered treatment in a safe and therapeutic environment.

Position Highlights:

Full-time, hospital-based role with a structured schedule.
20-bed inpatient adult unit with multidisciplinary team support.
Ability to collaborate with social workers, therapists, and nursing staff to ensure coordinated patient care.
Low call burden and supportive leadership team.
Opportunities to participate in quality improvement and teaching initiatives

Compensation & Benefits:

Base Salary Range - $285K 325K (commensurate with experience).
Competitive compensation package, including base salary + sign-on bonus and semiannual bonuses for productivity.
