Psychiatrist to join our team of dedicated professionals. This is a
full-time, employed physician position with a nocturnist work schedule. The psychiatrist will provide care in Emergency Department, Consultative Liaison services and
adult inpatient coverage. Key Responsibilities:
- Consultations across various hospital departments.
- Collaboration with Emergency Department, GWU Residents, and Medical Students.
- Daily patient care management for an assigned caseload.
The position offers a
competitive compensation package, including a salary, benefits, and bonus incentives. Ideal Candidate:
- Board-Eligible or Board-Certified (BE/BC) in Psychiatry.
- Experience in working within a multidisciplinary team that includes Psychiatrists, Nurse Practitioners (NPs), Therapists, Registered Nurses (RNs), Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs), Care Coordinators, and Mental Health Workers.
Required Qualifications:
- MD/DO degree from an accredited program.
- Board-eligible or certified in Psychiatry.
- Licensure to practice in Washington, DC or ability to obtain licensure.
- At least 4-5 years of training or relevant experience in Psychiatry.
- Meets all credentialing criteria for physicians.
