Palliative Care/Hospice Opening in Ohio - Located in Canton, OH - Cleveland 60m - Full-time, permanent position - Employed opportunityResponsibilities:Provides guidance to the interdisciplinary team (IDT) and Ethics Committee in the resolution of conflict and ethical issuesUtilizes appropriate resources to maintain knowledge and skills for hospice and palliative care in all settingsParticipates in Quality Assessment and Performance Improvement (QAPI) programProvides physician representation at and participation in interdisciplinary group meetingsActs as a resource to hospice and palliative care staff, patients, family members, and physicians regarding pain and symptom managementActs as a liaison to physicians in the community, and provides for consultation and education to colleagues related to admissions criteria for hospice and palliative careEnsures appropriate educational experiences for visiting students and residents on area professional programsParticipates in continuing education for all staff providing direct patient careCollaborates with the attending physician regarding the palliation and management of the patients with life-threatening or terminal illnessesComp/Benefits:Highly competitive compensationComprehensive health care and retirement plansExcellent signing bonusGenerous Relocation bonusMalpractice coverageRelocation expense, CME allowanceGenerous paid time offCanton, OH, is a vibrant city with a population of approximately 70,000 residents, known for its rich history and cultural significance, particularly as the home of the Pro Football Hall of Fame.
