OB GYN Hospitalist opening in CTLocated in HartfordFull Time PositionGroup is seeking for a BE/BC OB-GYN to provide services at the Hospital.Some highlights of the OB Hospitalist opportunity include: Providing call coverage and L&D support Caring for inpatient OB and GYN patients Providing OB and GYN consultations on the floor and Emergency Department Overseeing residents, fellows, midwives or advanced practice nurses Member and leader of the OB Rapid Response Team Member of patient safety and quality review committees Implementing quality programs and evidence-based medicine Extensive support from OB/GYN subspecialties, including Maternal Fetal Medicine, Urogynecology, Gynecologic Oncology, and Minimally Invasive Gynecology Hospital is a Level 1 Trauma Center and a Level 4 NICU. We the largest of three sites responsible for the training of the 40 UConn OB-GYN residents 12 hour and 24 hour shifts availableQualificationsBoard Certified or Board Eligible OB/GYNLicensed or eligible to be licensed in the State of ConnecticutConnecticut Lifestyle:-Connecticut's convenient location allows easy access to major cities like New York and Boston while maintaining a high quality of life with low crime rates and beautiful, welcoming suburban neighborhoods-The state has excellent educational institutions, from top-ranked public schools to prestigious universities and boasts a strong job market, particularly in finance, healthcare, and technology.-Residents enjoy the states rich history and culture, with numerous museums, theaters, and historic sites along with a variety of outdoor activities, including hiking, skiing, and boating.
