The Float Phlebotomist role involves performing blood collections and specimen preparation across multiple clinics and locations, providing variety and growth opportunities. Work Schedule: Fulltime 1st shift. Monday – Friday, start time and end time will vary. Between the hours of 7:00am-5:30pm. The hours/location may change/vary based on business need and/or the request(s) of your supervisor or management.
Float Incentive: Additional $1.00/hr. plus mileage reimbursement
Work Location: Travel to/from Nashville, Murfreesboro, Franklin, Brentwood, Lebanon, Mt Juliet, Cookeville, Sparta, McMinnville.

Job Responsibilities:
- Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups
- Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.
- Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner
- Process billing information and collect payments when required
- Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis
- Maintain patient and specimen information logs
- Provide superior customer service to all patients
- Administrative and clerical duties as necessary
- Travel to additional sites when needed
Job Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 6 months or more previous experience as a phlebotomist is required
- Must have a Valid Driver's License and clean driving record with reliable transportation
- Must be at least 21 years’ old
- Proven track record in providing exceptional customer service
- Strong communication skills; both written and verbal
- Ability to work independently or in a team environment
- Comfortable working under minimal supervision
- Flexibility to work overtime as needed
- Able to pass a standardized color blindness test
