Fitness Specialist

Are you passionate about working with older adults? Do you lead engaging and effective group fitness classes? We're looking for a dedicated Fitness Specialist to join our team!

Schedule: Monday - Friday

Compensation: $19.00 - $22.00 per hour, based on experience

How you will make an impact

Lead scheduled group exercise classes for the residents of Senior Living Community
Instruct Water Fitness Classes
Performing fitness assessments which include vital signs.
Prescribing an appropriate exercise program, including flexibility, strength, and cardiovascular training.
Educating and evaluating members on proper exercise techniques.
Assisting with coordination and implementation of Wellness programs.
Maintaining a clean and safe fitness area for members.
Building strong relationships with residents and staff, encouraging them to be physically active.

What you will need

Minimum of 1-year related work experience
Current CPR/First Aid certifications.
At least one year of experience teaching group water fitness classes preferred
At least one year experience teaching Group Exercises in a fitness environment.
Experience in evaluating fitness programs for seniors is a plus.
Personal Training Experience/Certification preferred
