ICU Nurse Job Details
- Location: Keene, NH 03431 (New Hampshire ICU nursing jobs)
- Facility: Level III Trauma Center, Intensive Care Unit (ICU)
- Assignment Length: 13 weeks (November 24, 2025 – February 23, 2026)
- Shift: 12-hour days (7:00 AM – 7:30 PM)
- Hours per Week: 36 guaranteed
- Weekend/Holiday: Every other weekend and holiday coverage required
- Open Positions: 2 ICU RN travel jobs
- Estimated Weekly Salary Range: $1990-$2130
Registered Nurse Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of recent ICU nursing experience
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in New Hampshire
- Certifications: ACLS (AHA), BLS (AHA), NIHSS
- Experience with EPIC electronic charting system
- Skilled in arterial lines, IV drips, ventilators, hemodynamic monitoring, and vaso pressors
- Ability to float to Progressive Care Unit (PCU) as needed
- Traveler must have reliable transportation
- Charge nurse and preceptor experience preferred
- Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of Keene, NH
- All time-off requests (max 5 days) must be submitted with application
ICU Nurse Responsibilities
- Provide safe, compassionate, and effective critical care nursing to ICU patients (adolescent to geriatric)
- Monitor and manage patients requiring advanced interventions (ventilators, IV drips, hemodynamic monitoring)
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans
- Float to PCU as needed to support clinical operations
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation using EPIC
- Participate in charge nurse and preceptor duties if qualified
- Comply with all facility, state, and nursing regulatory requirements
