Travel Nursing Job Details
- Location: Hermiston, OR 97838 – Experience the charm of rural Northeast Oregon with beautiful parks and a friendly atmosphere.
- Assignment Type: Travel Nursing – Med/Surg RN
- Department: Medical-Surgical (Med/Surg)
- Duration: 13 weeks (Start: 10/30/2025 – End: 1/29/2026)
- Shift: Day Shift (07:00 – 19:30)
- Schedule: Three 12-hour shifts per week, including every other weekend
- Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
Registered Nurse Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of nursing experience; Med/Surg nursing experience preferred
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license – Oregon or compact state
- Current ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Experience providing care for both adult and pediatric patients
Med/Surg RN Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality patient care in the Medical-Surgical department
- Collaborate with fellow nurses and a full-time Hospitalist physician
- Float to other hospital departments as needed, based on qualifications
- Provide clinical support for a diverse patient population, including adults and children
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
- Participate in interdisciplinary healthcare team meetings
