RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Opportunity:

RN - Trauma ICU

Job Details:

• 30-bed trauma ICU unit located on 3rd floor of C Tower
• Patient ratios of 2:1 for ICU patients and 4:1 for PCU patients
• Work with critical care equipment, burn ICU and trauma ICU technology
• Use Meditech EMR system
• Perform typical procedures including wound care, codes, EVDs, and MTP
• Float to MSICU, CVICU, Neuro ICU or any PCU unit as needed
• Required to work 2 weekends per pay period
• Must have trauma, burn, or surgical ICU experience
• Strong communication and critical thinking skills required
• BSN and CCRN certification preferred
• RN license required
• Royal blue scrubs required
• Team-based environment where asking questions and helping others is encouraged
• Day and night shifts available with 1 CNC/Relief Charge per shift

Facility:

This healthcare facility features a comprehensive 30-bed trauma ICU unit equipped with state-of-the-art critical care technology and specialized burn ICU capabilities. The facility maintains high staffing levels with 85 total staff members and operates with a team-based approach to patient care. The trauma ICU provides advanced critical care services and maintains float capabilities to multiple ICU and PCU units throughout the facility.
