Travel Nursing Job Details

- Unit: Medical/Surgical & Telemetry (32 beds)
- Start Date: September 29, 2025
- End Date: December 27, 2025
- Assignment Length: 13 weeks
- Shift: 12-hour day shifts (6:30am – 7:00pm)
- Guaranteed Hours: 36 per week
- Weekend Rotation: Every other weekend
- Holiday Coverage: 75% of holidays required
- Scrub Color: Navy

- Estimated Weekly Salary: $1470–$1570 per week
Registered Nurse Qualifications
- Active and unencumbered RN license (North Carolina or compact state)
- Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications
- Minimum 18 months of recent Medical/Surgical or Telemetry RN experience
- Proficient in Med/Tele nursing skills: cardiac rhythm interpretation, non-titrating cardiac drips (Cardizem, Amiodarone), wound care, drain/tube management, PIV starts, central line management
- Epic EMR experience preferred
- First-time travel nurses are encouraged to apply
Med/Surg RN Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality patient care to adults with diverse diagnoses, including stroke, respiratory illnesses (flu, pneumonia, COVID-19), renal failure, peritoneal dialysis, and wound management
- Maintain patient ratios of 1:5 for optimal care
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team: CNAs, charge nurses, phlebotomists, IV/VAT team, respiratory therapists, hospitalists, and intensivists
- Utilize Epic EMR and advanced unit technology, including virtual nursing cameras
- Manage admissions, discharges, medication administration, and continuous patient monitoring
- Foster a positive, patient-centered unit culture focused on teamwork and professional growth
