Registered Nurse Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (Iowa or compact state)
- Minimum 1 year of recent Operating Room (OR) nursing experience
- BLS certification (Basic Life Support)
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to adapt to a fast-paced surgical and clinical environment
Operating Room Nurse Responsibilities
- Deliver safe, effective nursing care to patients undergoing surgical procedures
- Assist surgeons and surgical teams during operations in the OR
- Prepare, organize, and maintain the operating room environment
- Monitor patient status and respond to changes during surgical procedures
- Accurately document patient care and maintain clinical records
- Participate in on-call rotation as scheduled
