Travel Nursing Job Details
- Location: Tucson, Arizona 85741
- Contract Length: 13 weeks
- Start Date: October 27, 2025
- End Date: January 26, 2026
- Shift: 12-hour nights (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM)
- Hours per Week: 36
- Employment Type: Travel Registered Nurse, On-Site
- Float Pool: Will float between Northwest Medical Center, Oro Valley Hospital, Northwest Houghton, and Northwest Sahuarita
- Weekend Requirement: 6 weekend shifts per 6-week schedule
- Estimated Weekly Salary Range: $1780 - $1910
Registered Nurse Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Arizona
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Minimum 2 years of recent Med/Surg Telemetry nursing experience
- Strong clinical skills in telemetry and medical-surgical nursing
- Willingness to float between departments and healthcare facilities as needed
- Excellent critical thinking, scientific judgment, and leadership abilities
Med/Surg Tele RN Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality patient care using the Nursing Process in accordance with the Arizona Nurse Practice Act and hospital policies
- Demonstrate advanced critical thinking and anticipate patient needs for safe, effective care
- Maintain clinical competencies through ongoing nursing education
- Delegate patient care tasks based on staff education and experience
- Supervise and provide direction to assigned healthcare personnel
- Float between departments and facilities to meet patient care needs as assigned
