- Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend (Friday and Saturday nights)
- Estimated Weekly Salary: $1990 - $2130
ICU Registered Nurse Qualifications
- Active Illinois Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Current CPR/BLS certification (American Heart Association preferred)
- ACLS certification required
- Minimum 1 year of recent ICU nursing experience (2 years preferred)
- Strong clinical judgment and ability to recognize and report changes in patient condition
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
ICU RN Responsibilities
- Assess and monitor ICU patients’ mental, physical, and spiritual needs
- Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans in collaboration with the multidisciplinary healthcare team
- Provide clear explanations and instructions to patients and families
- Maintain accurate and complete electronic medical records
- Demonstrate professional communication skills and contribute to a positive clinical environment
- Meet core measure responsibilities related to critical care nursing
- Participate in continuing education and professional development for ICU nurses
