ICU RN Job Details
- Location: Bemidji, Minnesota 56601
- Assignment Length: 13-week travel nursing contract (Start: 11/10/2025 – End: 2/9/2026)
- Facility Setting: Intensive Care Unit (ICU), 10 beds
- Shift: 12-hour rotating day/night shifts; every other weekend and holiday required
- Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
- Estimated Weekly Pay: $2140 - $2290
- Employment Type: Travel RN, On-Site
ICU Registered Nurse Qualifications
- Active Minnesota RN license required
- Minimum 3 years of recent ICU nursing experience
- Current ACLS (AHA) and BLS (AHA) certifications
- Experience with EPIC charting system preferred; other EMR experience considered
- Ability to float to Telemetry, ER/Observatory, and CCU units as needed
- Proficient in responding to code blue calls and performing procedures such as arterial lines, ventilator management, bipap, and cardiac monitoring
- Must wear navy blue scrubs
- Compliance with facility badge-in/badge-out protocols
ICU RN Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality, compassionate nursing care to critically ill patients in a 10-bed ICU
- Monitor and manage patients requiring advanced interventions, including ventilators, bipap, and cardiac monitoring
- Respond promptly and effectively to code blue emergencies
- Float to Telemetry, ER/Observatory, and CCU units as needed to provide clinical support
- Utilize EPIC and Pyxis systems for accurate documentation and medication management
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans
- Participate in a comprehensive orientation program (12–24 hours per unit, adjusted as needed)
