Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Cardiovascular ICU (CVICU) night shift position requiring a current CA RN license and recent critical care experience.

Responsibilities

Position is in the Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU) within a hospital setting
Night shift from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, 12-hour shifts
13-week contract assignment
Uses Epic EMR system
Care for critically ill cardiovascular patients
Must provide high-acuity cardiovascular care in a critical care unit
Local candidates accepted at the same rate as travelers
All licenses and certifications must be active at time of consideration; pending credentials not accepted
Assignment may not exceed two years without a 90-day break, per HR policy

Requirements

Active CA RN license required at the time of consideration
Minimum 1 year recent (within last 3 years) full-time CVICU or relevant ICU experience
Graduate of an accredited nursing program
Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
Last 4 digits of SSN and DOB required for consideration
Bachelor's degree in nursing or related field preferred
Recent experience in progressive or intermediate care unit preferred
