Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN Case Manager with acute care expertise and a valid CA RN license for a day shift assignment requiring Epic EMR proficiency.
Responsibilities
- Work in a hospital case management unit
- Day shift schedule, five 8-hour shifts weekly from 8:00 to 16:30
- Assignment duration is approximately 13 weeks
- Required to work two weekends every six weeks
- No on-call responsibilities
- Floating may be required to similar units based on staffing needs
- Epic EMR is used and proficiency is required
- Responsible for providing comprehensive case management services to acute care patients
- Free parking is available on site
- All travelers may be required to float between facilities within the state as needed
- Minimal to no RTO is preferred; any scheduling requests must be submitted at time of application
- Local candidates are not accepted for this assignment
Requirements
- Active and valid CA RN license required
- Minimum of 2 years of acute care case management RN experience
- Experience with Epic EMR required
- Candidates must provide a minimum of two supervisory references covering one year of employment within the last three years in a comparable specialty or setting
- COVID and Flu vaccination documentation required
- SSN, DOB, Driver’s License required for consideration
- First-time travelers are not accepted
- Former perm staff must wait at least 3 months before returning as a traveler and cannot reside within 50 miles of the facility
